Public Relations
The department "Public Relations, International Cooperation" in the Ministry of Agriculture, Environment and Climate Protection (MLUK) provides information about the work of the highest administration in the environmental and agricultural sector and supports publicity campaigns of the State of Brandenburg.
The climate claim "Climate. Protection. Brandenburg handelt." stands for all climate protection initiatives and measures implemented under the umbrella of the Brandenburg Ministry of Agriculture, Environment and Climate Protection.
The central web editorial office (e-mail to web editorial office) manages the department's website. As a subdomain of brandenburg.de, the department manages the division's web presence at mluk.brandenburg.de (also accessible at: agrar-umwelt.brandenburg.de) and the video channel on the vimeo platform.
Publications
The Ministry of Agriculture and the Environment publishes information on topics relating to the business area for both the general public and specialists.
Available titles can be ordered directly on the publications page or by e-mail (bestellung@mluk.brandenburg.de). The mailing is free of charge.
Printed publications are supplemented or alternatively replaced by downloads if they have not been printed or are out of print for environmental and cost reasons.
The Public Relations Department has overall responsibility for all publications of the house. In its editorial function, the State Administration is obliged to be non-partisan. Printed matter of the Ministry may not be used for the purposes of party work or election advertising and may only be reprinted, even in part, with written permission.
Trade fairs, exhibitions, competitions
The tasks of the department include the supervision of competitions, exhibitions and prizes in the business area.
The first highlight in January each year is the organisation of the presentation of Brandenburg's agricultural and food industry in the Brandenburg Hall as part of the International Green Week, the largest trade fair for consumers in Berlin.
International Cooperation
The International Cooperation Division coordinates international cooperation in the department. It is responsible for organising administrative cooperation, primarily with our Polish neighbour. International projects outside the administration are also supported.
