Cottbus – Fans sowie Besucherinnen und Besucher des LEAG Energie Stadions – dem ehemaligen Stadion der Freundschaft – in Cottbus können ab sofort eine lebendig gestaltete Wandfläche mit vielfältigen Motiven aus dem kulturellen Erbe der Lausitz bewundern. Die Graffitikunst ist das Ergebnis eines Workshops, zu dem das im Biosphärenreservat Spreewald angesiedelte Projekt „UNESCO 5“ fünfzehn Kinder und Jugendliche einlud. Farbenfroh und modern interpretiert, zieren nun Mammut, Karpfen, Wassermann und sorbische Arbeitstracht die Wandfläche und erweitern die bereits bestehenden Motive des märkischen Adlers und der Torwartlegende Tomislav „Pipi“ Piplica hinter dem Fußballtor vor der Südtribüne.
